It's also possible that you're in the wrong line of work.
Great achievements, along with virtues such as humility, often come from a child-like sense of curiosity, play, lack of fear and innocence.
In other words, success is a result of not being afraid to have fun in whatever it is that you do. You'd be surprised at what an un-cluttered mind can accomplish.
Here are a few examples of what I mean:
Mozart found his passion when he finally escaped the adulthood of a
steady job in Salzburg, for the virility of Vienna. There, he wrote and commanded
operas, orchestras, singers and actors. Though known for his playfulness, and sometimes child-like behavior, he created Don Giovanni,
the opera that changed every piece of music that ever came after.
Marie Curie found her passion, like so many of us, by playing with things she encountered in nature - like rocks. Why did some rocks seem to be like the sun (with their own source of light), when all else around them was pitch dark? Like a child, she held them in her hand, looked hard at them and even threw them. In other words, she studied them with playful curiosity.
Mick Jagger had no musical talent at all but would
collect blues records from America. He and his childhood friend, Keith
Richards, would lie around listening to them. When his parents sent him off to study at the London
School of Economics, he was still listening to those records and
scribbling down lyrics rather than paying attention to concepts like 'supply and
demand'.
Mary Shelley wondered what it would be like if a machine had intelligence. She day-dreamed about it. She called her machine the Frankenstein monster and made up stories about how people would treat such a hybrid human/machine.
The moral of the story: Don't over-think things and truly enjoy what you do.

Your desire and faith must take root to have any effect
In his parable of differing “soils,” Jesus
specifies some of the reasons certain people initially embrace
Christianity, often with a great deal of enthusiasm and fervor, but then
after a while bail out never to establish a root system which bears
genuine and lasting fruit.
Those identified as the first to leave do so because of “a time of testing” (Luke 8:13). This is some kind of painful situation or “persecution” (Matthew 13:21) that arises in a person’s life because of his or her new alliance with Christ. This is easy to imagine, knowing the power of social pressures and the unsympathetic “friends” who are quick to disparage and ridicule one’s confession to follow Jesus. When Christ costs friendships, some new “adherents” of Jesus are quick to say “forget it.”
The other primary reason is variously described as “the cares of the world” (Matthew 13:22), the “pleasures of life” (Luke 8:14), or simply a “desire for other things” (Mark 4:19). The assortment of worldly attractions will certainly put one’s supposed faith to the test. Time will reveal whether people who claim to “follow Christ” will actually experience a God-given consistency in following Christ, or will instead retreat to following their own cravings for the temporal things of this world. ~Mike Fabarez (Taken from “I’m for Christ” by Focal Point Ministries)
Isn't it funny that the very same situation applies to a marriage, a commitment to lose weight, a promise to quit drinking or even to start and stay dedicated to a business like Organo Gold (or any business). It's true, though. If you don't 'sink your roots', the first stiff breeze will blow you over. That's why the soil - i.e. your belief - makes all the difference. You need faith.
So which are you more like - a sapling on dry, rocky ground or a beautiful fruit tree, with roots sunk deep into fertile soil?

What does YOUR mind feed upon?
What you think about, you bring about. What I mean to say is that what you mentally feed upon gets processed by your brain into an end result. Even better, if good stuff goes INTO your brain, good stuff comes OUT!
Unfortunately, most people would much rather feed their bodies than their minds.
Do you have a favorite restaurant, but not a favorite author? If so, that's not so good. The fact is that most people's education pretty much stops when they get their first job. Not everybody, of course, but it's a fact that 'reading books' is something that the majority of people associate with being in school. But what if you never stopped learning? Can you imagine what you could learn to do, the skills you could develop and the capacities that you could have... if you never stopped feeding your mind?
There's a place at the feast table for you!
Here's what I'm asking you to do: feed your mind just as you do your body. Feed it with good ideas, wherever they can be found. Always be on the lookout for a good idea - a business idea, a product idea, a service idea, an idea for personal improvement. Every new idea will help to refine your philosophy. Your philosophy will guide your life, and your life will unfold with distinction and pleasure.

How to Handle Rejection
First of all, rejection has nothing to do with you. It's all about what's going on in the other person's mind; what they think they deserve, what they desire, what they are ready (or not ready) for, and so on. A lot of the time, what you represent is exactly what they need! They just don't realize it.
REMINDER: "NO" is a part of the system. In fact, it's just a basic part of life. When you hear "no" or someone doesn't keep an appointment, or when someone quits, or they get started but don't follow the steps, that does not mean the system isn't working. It means the system is working perfectly!
The system isn't in place to "convince". The system is in place in order to showcase what we're doing. When we expose people to the information, we then give them the opportunity to make a decision. They are not making a decision about 'you'. They are not making a decision about the company and their own lives. They are making a decision about themselves. And "no", or "not right now", or "I'm not ready for this", are perfectly acceptable responses.
Remember, our job is not to convince, persuade, or "sell". Our job is to simply put people in front of the information and let them make a decision. Therefore, you will hear "no" ... a LOT. And that's why the way to let the numbers work for you is to make sure you are exposing a LOT of people to the business plan.
Think about our goal of 1%. Here are the numbers:
In order to have a 1% success rate, you will get 99 "no" responses out of 100 presentations. These are the numbers. And, as we all know, numbers don't lie. (Believe me... do 100 presentations as quickly as you can. You'll see a MUCH better success rate than 1%!)
So when you are tempted to say (or you hear someone say), "It's not working. People are telling me 'no'.", recognize that it IS working! "No" is simply part of the process. Success comes to those who commit to and follow the process.
Don't worry about hearing "no". Work on YOU. Become better and better at your profession. The "Yes" answers will come! I see the glass as half-full, not as half-empty. Learn from your failures, but put them behind you and move on.
"Try one more time. The next time could be your yes. Don't let the no's discourage you. Don't let the closed doors convince you to give up." ~Joel Osteen

Faith, Determination and Forgiveness conquer all
I left the advertising department at Gordon's Jewelry, just before I would have been laid off (everybody else was, when they were bought out by Zales). Then I lost my job at the Houston Post when the newspaper suddenly went out of business. After recovering from that, I entered into about the 'toughest' business there is; buying and selling foreclosures. I was doing OK and even formed a small real estate partnership and had a successful Network Marketing business going as well.
Everything looked great, and then... disaster really struck.
My partner turned out to be a crook who had stolen $50,000 dollars from our investors and our business collapsed. Worse still, the Texas Attorney general at the time sued my MLM company out of business and my downline collapsed. Even better, the 'love of my life' at the time left me.
Does it sound 'tough' yet? It gets better.
I fell into the business of bar tending & bar management and, as some years passed, I was doing pretty well for myself. I even got started with another MLM (a long-distance company). Then an unfortunate thing happened, the owner of the bar where I worked got a new girlfriend who coveted my job. So he replaced me with her so that they could have a nice, combined income and a wonderful home together. Did I mention he was my best friend? He didn't care.
As for my home (a condo, at the time) I soon lost it to foreclosure and this second MLM company simply went out of business without any notice. Hoping to get back on my feet, I then put together some small investors and opened a little retail shop, which lasted about 2 years until eBay and Amazon.com put us out of business.
Sound 'tough' yet?
I then met the new love of my life (and married her!) and decided to go back to college in my 40's. The career I chose was, and remains, medical imaging. I worked part time in a pet food store and volunteered at a hospital while taking college Level English, along with Algebra I & II, Psychology, Speech and Humanities. Those 'prerequisite' classes enabled me to apply to the Health Science college where they only accept 25% of the applicants. I was admitted and began two years of training, during which half of the starting class failed or dropped out! Once I graduated, it took six more months to find work. To this day, some of my surviving classmates never have.
All that said, I experienced a new interest in Network Marketing (and Internet Marketing) during my time at the Health Science college and now work full-time in one of the 'toughest' places there is to work: a hospital. It pays well (that's true), but I've got a lot of years to make up for and I've been working two jobs - and that involves a 7-day-a-week schedule, plus some nights.
Thankfully, this coffee & tea business is allowing me to re-think that schedule and cut back a lot of those hours. But it's hasn't been 'easy'... not EVER.
"Yeah but you don't know MY situation.", I hear you saying. "I've really had it tough!"
I realize that everybodys' story is different and some people live particularly hard lives: raised in poverty, refugee from a 3rd world country, handicapped, abandoned in childhood, disease, loss of loved ones, drug addiction, war-wounds, mental scars, prison time, no education, etc.
But faith, determination and forgiveness can overcome any of those things. I've seen too many success stories to doubt it. That's why I highly recommend this book to anyone who doesn't believe me: 'Trapped in Hitler's Hell', by Anita Dittman
I'm not trying to sell you the book. All I'm saying is find it however you can. Please. Get it and read it. When you do, get back to me and share your thoughts on how 'tough' it would be to start your Organo Gold business - or any other business, for that matter.
I'll be waiting...

Afraid of getting started with Organo Gold?
Maybe you need some new beliefs. If you don't believe in Organo Gold, perhaps you didn't know that this new company (founded in 2008) already has half the Top-Earners in the Network Marketing industry - including the world's TOP earner. If you don't believe that coffee is a product that people will buy, perhaps you didn't know that it's the second most consumed beverage on earth - second only to water! And if you don't believe that you can do this business, perhaps you didn't know that it is specifically designed for the average person to succeed with it.
It's not your fault. Having old beliefs isn't new.
Try these, for example:
“The World Is Flat!” Scholars and priests used to believe this. They believed it so strongly that anyone suggesting otherwise was burned at the stake as a heretic! Today, if someone were to tell you that they believe the world is flat, you would look at them like they were crazy!
“You Can’t Run a Mile In 4 Minutes!” Scientists and trainers believed your heart would give out. Then Roger Bannister did it on May 6, 1954. These days, you aren’t even considered “competitive” if you can’t do it!.
“Man was not meant to fly.” Oops. Thanks, Wright Brothers. Now we can fly all over the world, to the moon and beyond!
“That's a Pyramid Scheme.” When Wall Street Journal publishes a 40 page spread on the Direct Selling Industry and refers to it as “The Ultimate Social Business Model”, it may be time to consider that what you’ve always believed to be “true” may not be entirely accurate.
In 2010, Direct Selling Companies generated over $125 billion in revenue. Over 75 million men and women in more than 150 countries participated. That number has only increased in 2013. There are both Publicly Held Direct Selling Companies and there are Privately Held Direct Selling Companies. If you’ve looked at the industry (and/or Organo Gold) and decided that you prefer a job where someone else gets more benefit from your labor than you do, that’s fine. Some people prefer the appearance and promise of “security”. That's their belief (though others are realizing that “job security” is a lie). But before you start banging the “pyramid” drum, you may want to educate yourself on the industry... and perhaps get some new beliefs.
Times are changing. We know the world isn’t flat. We blasted the 4 minute mile. We fly around the world in a matter of hours and we've walked on the moon. The economy is changing. Get the facts for yourself and remember this: "Fear tolerated is faith contaminated!"
Other belief-based fears can prevent your success when you do get started with a company like Organo Gold. When you are about to hand a coffee sample to someone, for example, these belief-based fears might be going through your mind: "I don't believe they're right for this business." "I don't believe they've got any money." "I don't believe they'd even care about this business."
Tip: never pre-judge or pre-qualify your prospects. To decide in advance (based on your beliefs) that a person is too important to be approached, or that another is too inadequate to succeed, is economic suicide.
As I compose this blog post today, I am sitting here thinking about some of my recent conversations with people who say things like, "Man, I just need a couple of people to really work this thing and I know it'll take off." But if that's not happening, and you are still waiting for these people to show up in your life, then I suggest starting here, by changing your beliefs about yourself:
Are YOU being the person you would want in your own business? You are if you believe you are! You've got to be that person before you expect others to be. Are YOU really working this thing to make YOUR business take off? You will if you believe in yourself! They've got to see you working in order to be inspired. Would YOU want to have YOU in your business? Damn right! BELIEVE it!
If you are going to get started with Organo Gold, you must:
BE the person you are looking for.
BE the person who gets on the phone.
BE the person who follows up.
BE the person who follows the 4 Steps.
BE the person you wish you had in your business.
You'll BE amazed at the results when you have desire, backed by faith (i.e. believing in yourself)!
