If Success Could Be Bottled...

If success could be bottled, everyone would drink a six-pack a day.  No, success isn't a magic potion.  It's simply the result of concentrating on a goal and consistently, persistently doing what's necessary to reach it.  Sounds simple enough, right?

I mean, Network Marketing is simple enough.  If you believe in the company and it's products, then it's just a matter of believing in yourself and showing the plan to lots of people.  I said 'simple' though... not necessarily easy.  It's not easy to handle rejection and it gets worse when it seems as if nobody on earth wants to join your business.  It can be a real struggle.

Have you been there before - felt like you've done all that you can and nothing seems to work?  You're not alone.  I have too!  Struggles in life help me to focus on the things that are important to me.  If they aren’t that important, then don’t worry about them.  That's why I try to simplify things instead of worrying about this or that.  There's nothing magic about it.  Worrying will only take up valuable time and energy that can be used on the really important things in your life. Mine are: 1) God  2) Wife & Family  3) Work.

Friends, hobbies, entertainment and everything else comes after those three priorities.

By the way, those priorities need goals attached to them.  When you write your goals down you will get a clearer picture of what you want out of life, and the work will seem easier because of your plan.  Remember the quote, “Don’t sweat the small stuff!  It’s all small stuff!” I wouldn't let the “small stuff” control my day (instead of me controlling it) if I were you.  In other words, don't let little things get to you.  And whatever you do, don't give up and quit.

Someone recently asked, "What do I do when people won't even look at the business?"

My answer: "Move on to the next person on your list. They're clearly not the one."

Remember: "No" is part of the system.

Sift and sort by working the numbers.

Why do so many professional athletes end up penniless?

It certainly doesn't have to be that way.  When they hand these 19-20 year old kids millions of dollars, a lot of them never think about the future or just how short their careers might be... especially in the NFL.  For example, the average career length for an NFL running back is 3-4 years.  So what's that guy going to do with the rest of his life and how is he going to adjust to the 'real world' where his job no longer pays hundreds of thousands, or even millions of dollars, a year?

Personally, I don't know!  If it were me (or my son), a lot of that money would go into income-producing real estate or fast-food franchises that could support you for the rest of your life.  But if you have a pleasing personality and a gift for public speaking, an ex-professional already has a huge, built-in audience for establishing a Network Marketing business.  Some of them do just that!  A good example of this is former Denver Bronco, Rod Smith.  He's a great guy and he choose Organo Gold (OG) after looking around at everything else that's out there.  Now he's an OG Diamond, earning six-figures a month.

I don't think I could do an Organo Gold business

You just don't believe it, do you?  Times are hard and money's tight.  Who is going to want to buy coffee from you?  How could you sell it to anybody?  Is that what you're wondering?

Say, I've got a question for you:  Do the Girl Scouts have any problems selling cookies?  Of course, they don't.  People buy boxes from them even if they don't really want them, or they're on a diet.  Why?  Because the cute, little Girl Scouts just smile and ask, "Would you like to buy some cookies?"  That's all there is to it, and they earn millions!  Coffee's no different.

Still don't believe it?  Despite the economic downturn - and the expensive price of coffee drinks - people remain committed to getting their daily dose with little modification.  If you don't believe that, visit a McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks on any given morning.  In fact, some 42% of folks say they couldn't drop coffee from their diet even if they wanted to, and few are likely to switch to decaf.

Suffice it to say: People are not going to stop drinking coffee.

Organo Gold and the power of your beliefs

Your beliefs are the driving force behind your behaviors. Beliefs send powerful messages to your brain that affect your actions (and their outcome) in either a positive or negative way. Your beliefs will cause you to do one of two things:

Be fearful and RETREAT, or be empowered and ACT!

That’s how powerful your beliefs are. Your beliefs about failure, risk-taking, and success will either cause you to repel success, or act and attract it to you. Success takes two ingredients: belief and time. The more belief you have, the less time it takes. How can you ensure your belief system is empowering and is actually attracting success to you? Three things:

1)  First, it is imperative that you are making daily efforts to get the negative messages out of your life. You need to create an obsession with filtering what you allow in. Television, newspapers, some movies and songs, negative thoughts and people, all need to be limited – even banned from your day.

2)  Second, you need to expose and replace the negative beliefs you presently have. Think about what you say on a daily basis. Observe your habitual behaviors in different situations. Tell the truth. Expose these negative beliefs. Only then will you be truly free. Then, replace these negative beliefs and bad habits with empowering ones. Think on these new thoughts and beliefs about success and over time you will retrain your mind and change your heart.

3)  Lastly, create a compelling vision of your success. Craft a picture of you – as the person you want to be – in your mind and THINK ON THIS throughout your day. Not only with this vision put a smile on your face, this habit will actually create success. Remember middle school science class? You learned the difference between potential energy and kinetic energy. Potential energy is energy waiting to happen. Not until it’s moving and active will you see it in its kinetic energy state. When it’s in the kinetic state it is a reality. Wow! That means you can create reality (the kinetic energy) with your thoughts and beliefs (potential energy). Never underestimate the power of your beliefs!

Afraid of getting started with Organo Gold?

“Man was not meant to fly.”  Oops. Thanks, Wright Brothers.  Now we can fly all over the world, to the moon and beyond!

“That's a Pyramid Scheme.”  When Wall Street Journal publishes a 40 page spread on the Direct Selling Industry and refers to it as “The Ultimate Social Business Model”, it may be time to consider that what you’ve always believed to be “true” may not be entirely accurate.

In 2010, Direct Selling Companies generated over $125 billion in revenue.  Over 75 million men and women in more than 150 countries participated.  That number has only increased in 2013.  There are both Publicly Held Direct Selling Companies and there are Privately Held Direct Selling Companies.  If you’ve looked at the industry (and/or Organo Gold) and decided that you prefer a job where someone else gets more benefit from your labor than you do, that’s fine. Some people prefer the appearance and promise of “security”.  That's their belief (though others are realizing that “job security” is a lie). But before you start banging the “pyramid” drum, you may want to educate yourself on the industry... and perhaps get some new beliefs.

Times are changing. We know the world isn’t flat. We blasted the 4 minute mile. We fly around the world in a matter of hours and we've walked on the moon. The economy is changing. Get the facts for yourself and remember this:  "Fear tolerated is faith contaminated!"


Other belief-based fears can prevent your success when you do get started with a company like Organo Gold.  When you are about to hand a coffee sample to someone, for example, these belief-based fears might be going through your mind:  "I don't believe they're right for this business."  "I don't believe they've got any money."  "I don't believe they'd even care about this business."

Tip: never pre-judge or pre-qualify your prospects.  To decide in advance (based on your beliefs) that a person is too important to be approached, or that another is too inadequate to succeed, is economic suicide.

As I compose this blog post today, I am sitting here thinking about some of my recent conversations with people who say things like, "Man, I just need a couple of people to really work this thing and I know it'll take off."  But if that's not happening, and you are still waiting for these people to show up in your life, then I suggest starting here, by changing your beliefs about yourself:

Are YOU being the person you would want in your own business?  You are if you believe you are!  You've got to be that person before you expect others to be.  Are YOU really working this thing to make YOUR business take off?  You will if you believe in yourself!  They've got to see you working in order to be inspired.  Would YOU want to have YOU in your business?  Damn right!  BELIEVE it!

If you are going to get started with Organo Gold, you must:

BE the person you are looking for.
BE the person who gets on the phone.
BE the person who follows up.
BE the person who follows the 4 Steps.
BE the person you wish you had in your business.

You'll BE amazed at the results when you have desire, backed by faith (i.e. believing in yourself)!

What kind of results can you expect from your Organo Gold business?

Organo Gold Diamonds: How to become one of them

I just love it when we hear from Diamonds, Blue Diamonds and Black Diamonds in Organo Gold.  Because, in the beginning, they were people just like you.  They were looking at this new business a few years ago and wondering, "Could I do that?"

Please keep in mind that a 'Diamond' level business owner in Organo Gold is now earning over $100,000 a MONTH!  Some are earning 4-5 times that amount - every, single month.
