How's your attitude today?

Have you ever felt like you need an attitude adjustment? I’m not just talking about having an attitude because you are upset about something or other.  I’m talking about an attitude adjustment about LIFE! How many days do we go on and our attitude never changes? We seem to be in a state of limbo, seeming to ride on the fence between a good attitude and a bad attitude. Riding the fence is not what we were made to become or do in this life.

If you want more from life, how are you going to get it if you walk around all day not happy where you are? When we see things from a better viewpoint, we can get more of what we want from life and our desires will be easier to attain.

Do you remember a time when things just seemed to go well for you no matter what you did? When you are happy and excited about something, it tends to draws those things to you! Conversely, when things are not going well (and we concentrate on the bad) those things are drawn to us also. The things you wake up thinking about can change your day for better or worse! I wake up every morning thinking “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!” Find you a saying or verse that you can wake up to and say out loud to begin your day.  Put it in a frame over your mirror.

I know... it can be hard to do this, especially when your habit has been to wake up thinking of how bad you day is going to be.  I've been there!  Take each day one at a time and over a short period you will see great changes in your attitude and life!  I like this quote from Joel Osteen: “Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life.”
